Some guests have noted that during peak hours, particularly on Saturdays, The Blue Bell can become quite congested. This might lead to longer wait times for food and drink service, especially during lunchtime, which is significantly busier compared to dinner periods.
A few diners have commented on the standard pub food, believing it leans too classic without offering enough innovative dishes. Though the offerings are well-prepared, some patrons may wish for more unique culinary adventures. Occasionally, the atmosphere can feel a bit noisy when large groups gather, which might not suit everyone looking for a quieter dining experience.
This was our first visit for food today and it was excellent. The customer service is outstanding and Stacey, Georgina and the team are fantastic and go above and beyond to make your visit a happy one. The food is all freshly cooked for you and it shows. Excellent quality meals and will definitely leave you full. If you're really hungry, try the bell tower burger, it's huge. The pie and chips was beautiful (the chunky chips are amazing). This is somewhere we will definitely be visiting again and hopefully we'll get to try the Sunday roast next time. Definitely a 10/10 from us.
My wife Denise and I booked in for lunch on Sunday 21st September. Without a doubt, we had THE best roast dinner we have had in a long time! Lovely tender beef, crispy roasties, plenty of tasty veg, a perfect yorkie and those glazed carrots and gravy are to die for! The staff were so lovely, welcoming and attentive, we couldn't have wished for better service. Everything was absolutely spot on! 👌
On a rare day with no kids me and my partner stumbled accidentally this little gem of a place. I must say we were not disappointed! The food was lovely and service was good. Such a lovely chilled little place and the portion sizes were just perfect. For the price of a 3 course meal also I honestly have to say we will return to the explore a bit more than the lunchtime menu.
Great service very friendly and welcoming staff. The food is incredible I highly recommend the chicken wings, they have different flavours but I had the hot wings which were like something out of a dream. Highly recommend this place food never misses and is always perfectly priced.
Decent pub. Decent drinks. Food is the typical pub food. We were celebrating a birthday to a mate here, with a private room booked for us. Staff were attentive, the drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is OK. Kids using the casino machines was quite a sightseeing, but I guess that's to be expected in the uk? :)
Breakfast offer. We had two full English, great value. It is so nice to have plum Tomato's and a choice of fried bread on a breakfast as standard without it costing more. Our breakfasts were fresh, piping hot and delicious. We usually go elsewhere for breakfast but will 100% be back.
Daniel the manager provided excellent customer service for our group party. Great food and drinks. Thank you.
